The time has come – I am taking the plunge into buying a new car even though my head is probably telling me to wait a little while longer to see how things pan out with this credit crunch situation. However, the way I see it is that I may not get as much money now for my current vehicle as part of a part ex deal but on the other hand, given the current situation with the new and used cars market, I am sure that there will be a bit more bargaining power with the dealerships? I hope so anyway! I wanted to get a brand new 58 registration but again my head keeps telling me to maybe go no higher than a 57 plate due to the situation we find ourselves in. For some reason though that new, fresh smell that you get from a new car is just providing too much temptation so I think I will go and see what Audi and BMW have to offer. Last time I looked there was the new version of the Q7 being offered to customers but I’m not sure whether it was a Q7 by name? I think it worked similar to the X5 and the more recent X3 where the two vehicles looked similar but were slightly different. Maybe it is a Q5? I’m not sure though? Either way, there will be something to there that I am sure I could see myself in. BMW or Audi though? Now that is a tough one. Given that my last car was a 3 series, maybe a new TT might be in range……
